1. Your Right to Delete Your Data
At OneSimple, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. Under various privacy regulations including GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), you have the right to request deletion of your personal information.
This page explains what data we delete, how to request deletion, and what to expect during the process.
2. What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request deletion of your account or data, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:

- Social Media Connections: All OAuth tokens, access tokens, and refresh tokens for connected platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Threads).
- Brand Data: All brands you've created, including brand names, logos, color schemes, and settings.
- Content & Posts: All scheduled posts, draft content, uploaded media files, and post history within our platform.
- Analytics Data: Performance metrics, engagement statistics, and reporting data associated with your account.
- Message Data: Any messages synced from your connected social media accounts to our unified inbox.

3. What We Cannot Delete
Certain data cannot be deleted due to legal requirements or technical limitations:
- Published Social Media Content: Posts that have already been published to your social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) are controlled by those platforms. You must delete published content directly on each platform.
- Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot be traced back to you may be retained for service improvement purposes.
- Legal Compliance Records: We may retain certain records as required by law, such as billing records for tax purposes (typically 7 years) or records related to legal disputes.
- Backup Systems: Data in encrypted backup systems will be automatically purged according to our backup retention schedule (typically within 90 days).
4. How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:
Method 1: In-App Account Deletion (Recommended)
- Log into your OneSimple account
- Navigate to Settings
- Click on the Account tab
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section
- Click Delete Account
- Confirm your decision by entering your password
This is the fastest method and initiates immediate processing.
Method 2: Email Request

- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- The email address associated with your OneSimple account

Method 3: Disconnect Social Accounts Only
If you only want to remove specific social media connections without deleting your entire account:

This immediately revokes our access and deletes all tokens for that platform.

You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion process is complete.
6. For Facebook and Instagram Users
If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to OneSimple, here's additional information specific to Meta platforms:
- Immediate Token Revocation: When you disconnect your Facebook/Instagram account or delete your OneSimple account, we immediately delete all access tokens and can no longer access your Meta data.
